Matthew D. Burton

Matt Burton is Chairman of the Board at C.W. Matthews. Matt has more than 25 years of asset management and operations management experience. He received a bachelor’s degree from Samford University and an MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University before earning his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Matt began his career with CWM in 1990 working throughout the company’s operational divisions through 1994 until settling on financial and portfolio management for Matsco Incorporated, the parent company of CWM. Today, he serves as Chairman of the Board.

Daniel P. Garcia

Dan Garcia is President of C.W. Matthews Contracting Company. Dan joined the company in 2013. His expertise involves all facets of construction management, but his passion for the industry comes from building projects that have an impact in the community and for the people constructing these projects. Dan was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States at the age of 17 to attend The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. After graduating in 1996 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Dan began his career in construction working in several states before moving to Georgia in 2002. In 2010, Dan completed his MBA from Mercer University.

Michael D. Bell

Michael D. Bell is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of C.W. Matthews Contracting Company. Michael manages all of the company support divisions including G&A, Information Technology, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Equipment and Maintenance.

Michael is a Georgia native. He graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and began his career with C.W. Matthews Contracting Company in 1995. Currently he oversees all financial, administrative, and political activities for the company. Michael also serves as the President of Matsco, Incorporated, which is the parent company of C.W. Matthews.
